RECA helps protect consumers who work with Alberta’s real estate licensees, mortgage licensees, property managers, and condominium managers.
When a licensee may have breached the Real Estate Act, RECA has the authority to hold formal hearings and take disciplinary action where appropriate. You can learn more about the types of disciplinary decisions on our Types of Decisions page.
Publication of Decisions
RECA waits until the 30-day appeal period has passed before publishing a decision. In cases where the matter is serious and early publication is in the best interest of consumer protection, decisions may be posted sooner. Published decisions remain on reca.ca for five years.
If you would like information about a decision that is no longer available on reca.ca, you can submit a Request for Disciplinary History form.
How to Search
